A message from above.
Spent most of the afternoon wandering around the main tourist spot in Kathmandu., Durbar Square. Photo is of one of the (59) temples there.
Got hassled a lot, there's a lack of tourists around and they tend to jump on anything they see. First guy spent 10 minutes trying to sell me hash (then showed me the injection marks in his arms, must remember that as an effective selling technique...) and then offered to show me around. For some reason, decided not to and ended up paying another guy to show me around, which turned out quite well. That was until I went into one temple, that of the "living god", a seven year old girl who came out and waved at me. At that point a bird shat on my head. I'm not sure if this has an important religious meaning which I have missed. Post suggestions in the comments.
